Gonna sound like my gramps for a sec, but you know, in my time, being a punk meant something different. People fought against the system whatever way they could, frying the biggest fish they could catch, tearing down palaces brick by brick. Now every random gonk-brain fool thinks they're a hero for flatlining an unarmed normie. This isn't your beef, I get it... But are you sure don't wanna teach those worms a lesson?

A Day in the Life Objectives Cyberpunk 2077

  • Talk to Darrell.
  • Talk to the thugs.
  • Defeat the thugs.
  • Talk to the vendor.

A Day in the Life Walkthrough Side Job Cyberpunk 2077

A Man in Need

  • To trigger this job, complete the main job, Playing for Time, and then travel to Arroyo, Santo Domingo, and speak to a stall keeper named Darrell Zhou. The stall is outside The Manufactory.
  • It's recommended that you build your street cred first within Santo Domingo and reach the second tier. This will help you with ending this job in a peaceful resolution.
  • When you first arrive, speak to Darrell and then leave. After some time, return to him and agree to help him take care of the thugs who are trying to steal his motorcycle.
  • Again, if you have at least tier 2 for street cred within Santo Domingo, the thugs will recognize V and they will just leave since they will be threatened. However, you'll just end up fighting them by default.
  • Choosing not to help Darrell results in him being killed by the thugs, causing the job to fail. On the other hand, if you do help him, he will give V a discount at his shop.

I helped him, the thugs ran away, then I left to buy some guns at the corner shop and when I came back they were back by the bike and attacked me. I went to check on the vendor and he was on the floor dead! WTF.

Is it just me tjat states thinking of "like a boss" from Lonely Island?
Guy kept saying "boss" and then the name of the quest

Don't think the thugs are spawning - there's one guy, and he isn't hijacking a bike at all (there is no bike) and I get an extra enemy marker beneath the spot where the first guy is. . . except that's under the world. Fun bug!
