Getting Warmer… is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077. Getting Warmer… can be acquired from Wakako Okada. Completing Gigs in Cyberpunk 2077 earns you experience points and may reward you with some items.

 

Used to be 8ug8ear and the Tygers got along. They were supposed to work a Kiroshi warehouse job together, but she left them out to dry - remotely drove out a van packed with high-end gear and abandoned them inside. Certain death. But those Tygers are a tough crew, you know how stubborn they can be.

The next day they pull up to her apartment wanting to know where she stashed the tech. 8ug8ear was desperate, escaped to the Net, shrouded herself in soft that'd flatline her if they tried to disconnect her. Of course now they just have to watch the clock tick. Eventually, 8ug8ear will have to come out or risk frying her own synapses. And the Tygers are patient, especially in matters of revenge. Personally, I think they like it more this way.

Get 8ug8ear out of there and give word - I'll send transport. But remember to disconnect her safely. She's useless to me dead.

 

Getting Warmer… Objectives Gig Cyberpunk 2077

  • Enter the building.
  • Find 8ug8ear.
  • Find a way to safely disconnect 8ug8ear.
  • Take coolant.
  • Lower 8ug8ear's body temperature before disconnecting her.
  • Disconnect 8ug8ear.
  • Carry 8ug8ear to the fixer's car.

 

Getting Warmer… Walkthrough Gig Cyberpunk 2077

While driving around Japantown in Westbrook, Wakako Okada will give you a call regarding a mission to rescue a Netrunner named 8ug8ear. Head over to the marked location and infiltrate the building where the Netrunner is being held. There will be a couple of Tygre Claw enemies, so take them out silently for a smooth gameplay.Move upstairs to the 2nd floor and take out the remaining enemies in the hallway, then enter the door that's marked then take out an enemy who's on the phone on a balcony.

Before you can unplug 8ug8ear from the net, you'll receive a message from her telling you not to unplug her just yet. You'll need to retrieve a coolant syringe from the room and inject her with it first. Once done, unplug her, and carry her body outside to the fixers car. This will mark the end of the side gig given to you by Wakako.

      Was able to complete this in 1.06. Got the call as I was deliberately approaching the icon on map from Wakoda. Got in by superjump via the fire escape stairs. Cooled here off, picked her up, and put her in trunk which completed the mission with exp and money. This was after I had completed all main quest stuff other than Down in the Street though so you may not see this until you advance that far.

        Completely bugged as of 1.06. Mission never triggers a phone call and the doors to the building remain forever closed. Can't complete it.
