Going Up or Down? is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077. Going Up or Down? can be acquired from Sebastian "Padre" Ibarra. Completing Gigs in Cyberpunk 2077 earns you experience points and may reward you with some items.
This isn't your run-of-the-mill gig. Client this time is me. You know the H1 megabuilding in the Glen? City within a city - crumbling tower of concrete and faulty wiring. That is hasn't already collapsed is thanks to a guy named El Gallo. Brilliant techie, he was. Past tense.
It's the same old story. El Gallo's got a drug problem. A big one. He's completely lost touch with reality, goes from one scare of syn-coke to another. Needless to say, he's in no state to repair any creaky doors. But for some reason he got it into his head that everything'll be better if he could just get his hands on some scandium rods, so he stole them from a corpo warehouse.
These rods are rare parts. Rare and very expensive. I wouldn't want to see them go to waste. Go to H1 (access code's already taken care of) and get them from El Gallo before that junkie pawns them. I don't care how you do it, so long as it gets done.
Going Up or Down? Objectives
Sebastian need you to grab some goods, rare ones scadlium rods.
- Go to El Gallo's workshop.
- Neutralize El Gallo.
- Look for the scandium rods.
- Steal the scandium rods.
- Go outside.
- Deposit scandium rods in the Drop Point.
Going Up or Down? Walkthrough
While driving around The Glen in Heywood near Megabuilding H1, Sebastian "Padre" Ibarra will give you a call and task you to retrieve Scandium Rods from a Techie. Follow the Quest marker and head inside Megabuilding H1. There won't be other enemies besides the techie, so don't worry about security or other guards. Once in the premises of the megabuilding, go to the door with a bum on the left, and head straight down to the basement. You'll find the techie working downstairs alone. It's up to you if you want to kill or subdue him, it wont affect the outcome in any way. Once neutralized, loot the Scandium Rods from the body and deliver it to the drop point just outside Megabuilding H1. This will mark the end of the side mission given to you by Padre.
