Iconic Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 are improved Weapons with unique perks attached to them that can't be found on any other weapon in Cyberpunk 2077 and are particular for each Iconic Weapon. There are all sorts of Iconic Weapons varying in both type and rarity. Most Iconic Weapons can be obtained from specific Merchants, and some can only be obtained by completing certain Jobs. Please note that most of these Iconic Weapons can only be obtained under fairly specific conditions. If you miss the given opportunity, you won't be able to get the Iconic Weapon, unless you start all over again. Below, you can find a list with all the information about Iconic Weapons.
Cyberpunk 2077 Iconic Weapons
Iconic Weapons are typically available only once from a particular source. Unlike many standard weapons, iconic ones usually lack mod slots but compensate with distinctive effects that set them apart. However, with the Phantom Liberty expansion, new iconic weapons featuring the "x-MOD2" suffix have been introduced. These advanced iconic weapons not only come with two guaranteed mod slots but also offer enhanced handling, making them more versatile and powerful in gameplay compared to their earlier counterparts.
How to upgrade Iconic Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077
To upgrade your Iconic Weapons you need to access the Crafting Menu. To do this, navigate to your inventory and select the Crafting tab. Once in the Crafting menu, look for the Upgrades section. This is where you'll discover options for improving your weaponry. In the Upgrades section, you'll see a list of all your weapons, including any iconic ones you've obtained. After selecting your Iconic Weapon, press the Upgrade button on the bottom right. Before you can proceed with the upgrade, make sure you have the necessary components and resources.

Is it possible to obtain Chaos, Doom Doom, and Sir John Phalustiff in one playthrough? Royce has to die, Dum Dum has to survive long enough for Second Conflict, and Meredith Stout has to survive The Pickup. I can't imagine downing Dum Dum non-lethally works unless there's a flag for that. Is it impossible to get every iconic weapon with one character?

You can tell the Devs picked their favorite weapon types. 5 Iconic Katanas, a ton of pistols and Rifles/SMGs. Not even one LMG.
