It would appear there is a bug with optical camo, once you slot it, it is permanently slotted and can't be removed. I (think I) have tried everything, but if I am being stupid, can someone tell me how to unequip Optical camo?

        optical camo:
        rare: west wind estate
epic: kabuki (fast travel: kennedy north)
legendary: rancho coronado (fast travel: rancho coronado east)

Get the legendary subdermal armor as soon as possible! 14k seems a lot in the beginning of the game, but 200 extra armor will give you a HUGE boost to survivability early in the game.

Later on it becomes less useful since you get better clothes that you can mod with the Armadillo mod (extra amor).

Optical camo might be a cut feature, someone noted on reddit that he added it via console, didn't do anything.
I believe it might be added in a later DLC.
