AnonymousThis is wrong I broke that gun down since I don't use snipers and noticed in my crafting the weapon actually went to Legendary. So from what I do know is that this gun is up gradable all the way to legendary.

For me I was able to tell Buck to throw in the rifle along with the eddies before the match because I had 20 points in Body, but unfortunately I didn't choose it and forgot to save beforehand so I won't know for sure if it would have worked. It was highlighted yellow I think. I should have tried the option because I doubt the player is able to go back and buy it afterwards. Someone else should try and verify or I might do it later after restarting the game.

Not 100% sure but I needed a strength value of 8 to unlock the conversation path to "toss in" the rifle.

Does this gun suck or is it just me, I have an epic tech rifle that hits almost twice as hard with an item card display 1/4 of the damage numbers.......

This quest is glitched for me. The normally upright truck behind the barrel that the weapon is resting on is on its side and clipping through said barrel preventing access to the weapon. I’ve tried reloading old saves, using vehicles and explosives to try to move it to no avail.
This rifle, avoid cover while firing, damn thing somehow magically hits a hit box that is far bigger than the cover you're behind of and thus the projectiles explode right in front of your face when as far as your eyes are concerned it's actually just open space between you and your target but NO, explodes in FRONT OF YOUR FACE and kills you. And on top of that the scope sucks and there's no slot to change it.
