A few weeks ago a police officer was shot dead. Same old story - some Valentino kids got into a scrap with the badges. The fatal piece of lead was shot by a ganger named José Luis.
The investigation was dropped and officers from the local precinct were told to back off. Pretty interesting turn of events, wouldn't you say? José must have some friends in high places.
Here's the deal - one of the officers wants José to be brought to justice, which is where you come in. If you happen to find out who's protecting the Valentino, I'll throw in extra. Good luck.

- Go to the bus depot.
- Find José Luis.
- Find out why the NCPD dropped the investigation. [Optional]
- Neutralize José Luis.
- Leave the depot. (If Neutralized non-lethally): Carry José's body outside the depot.
- Call Padre.
- Talk to Padre. (If Neutralized non-lethally): Carry José to the fixer's transport.
- Collect your reward.
On A Tight Leash Walkthrough Gig Cyberpunk 2077
This gig is unlocked and given to you by Sebastian "Padre" Ibarra when you reach Street Cred Level 1, in order to trigger the gig, you must be driving or roaming around the Wellsprings area in Heywood. Head over to the quest marker until you reach the bus depot on Benko St. where you'll need to take out Jose Luis. It's up to you if you want to proceed with this gig through stealth or guns blazing but do take note that there is an optional quest where you need to find out why the NCPD dropped the investigation. Once you enter the building, head over to the back right of the ground floor to access the stairs to the 2nd floor, there will be a couple of enemies on the ground floor, so take them out however you wish.
After getting to the 2nd floor, the only person here is Jose, which is your target. Take him out however you like, and make sure to browse through his computer to complete the optional objective. Afterward, leave the building and make sure to call or wait for Padre's call. You'll have a brief discussion with the fixer about your findings. You'll learn that Arasaka is scheming something against militech, which could lead to another corpo war. After the call, collect your reward from the drop point, marking the end of the gig given to you by Padre.
