Phantom Liberty for Cyberpunk 2077 is the first and major upcoming spy-thriller DLC Expansion that is set in an brand new district of Night City. CD PROJEKT RED's first expansion DLC is coming in 2023 and it will be released for PC (Steam), Google Stadia, PlayStation5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Return to Night City as V as you take an oath to "faithfully serve the New United States of America,", explore a brand new district, take on new Jobs, discover new Weapons, Cyberware, Armor, Vehicles, and Upgrades. as well as facing new threats and challenges. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC Overview

On September 6, 2022, Game Director, Gabriel Amatangelo, announced the expansion DLC during its Night City Wire Livestream. He points out all the different updates that they have made to better enhance the game as to where it is as of today and featured the new Patch 1.6 called the Edgerunners Update, a brand new Mobile Game that is free to play called Roach's Race, the Edgerunners Anime that is available on Netflix, and showcased a teaser for the Phantom Liberty DLC.

This the first major expansion of the game since its full release last December 2020 and it continues the story of V who finds himself/herself in a brand new district of Night City, and is governed under a new United States of America. In the teaser trailer, V takes an oath to faithfully serve the new regime, while it showcases various locations, heavily guarded areas, new weapons. And finally, we hear the voice of Keanu Reeves who returns as the voice of Johnny Silverhand, who tells V that it was a bad idea taking that oath.

As we all know, there are multiple Endings that players can unlock in Cyberpunk 2077 and it is still unclear where this new story takes place in the game - more information will be added when it is available.
