Scavengers is a Gang in Cyberpunk 2077. Gangs are the various groups that take hold of different areas of Night City. From technology-obsessed fully cybered gangs, combat obsessive warrior "tribes," and even gangs centered around cults, there is a diverse array of Gangs in Night City in 2077. These ferocious beasts are not to be trifled with without impunity.

Scavengers, or ‘Scavs’ for short, are the lowest of the low in Night City. They harvest implants, tech, and organs from unsuspecting victims, assaulting them on the street and hauling them into seedy basements to strip them clean. They make a living selling their bloody plunder on the black market. Shameless, unscrupulous killers, they target gangers and law-abiding citizens alike. It’s all the same to a Scav.

• Scavengers kidnap people that use high-end implants to harvest their implants and sell them in the black market. They keep the kidnapped alive until they harvest the implants, at which point they kill them.

Dogtown Scavs

Dogtown scays are much better organized and equipped than their Night City brethren. They're no longer a Pan-Slavic horde of itchy triggers looking for a quick-'n'-dirty brawl, a strong stim and an easy eurobuck. Rumor has it those ones in Dogtown are linked to Soviet intelligence. True or false? Hard to tell. What's known is that whoever is spreading these rumors runs the risk of getting their picture stapled to the Memorial Tree in the Stacks.
The Dogtown scays have cash, good equipment and a bit of disdain for their poorer NC kind. Why? Because only those without a knack for business end up in Night City. The scav oligarchy secures business in Hansen's backyard. So why would Hansen tolerate them? Simple. It's all about the money.
