The Beast in Me Walkthrough Side Job Cyberpunk 2077

  • The Beast in Me Side Job is a series of quests given to you by Claire Russel. After progressing a bit through the Main Jobs, you'll receive a call from Claire Russel asking you to be her driver for a series of races around Night City. Once you get the call, head over to her garage located in Santo Domingo, Arroyo, and speak with her. After the conversation with Claire, this will trigger the upcoming different side jobs where you have to participate in a race with a choice of your vehicles or Claire's Beast ride. After every Race is completed, this Side Job will always indicate to wait for Claire's call for the next upcoming races.

The Beast in Me: City Center Walkthrough Side Job Cyberpunk 2077

  • To start this race, you'll have to give Claire a call when you reach the waypoint in City Center. After speaking with Claire, sit on the bench and it will immediately skip to a scene where the area is filled with racers and spectators. We recommend using one of your personal fast Vehicles in this race rather than Claire's beast. Once the cutscene is done, walk over to claire and have a few dialogues with her, then make your way to your chosen vehicle. The City Center Race isn't too difficult, so this might as well be an easy win for you. Just follow the waypoint on the street and watch out for sharp turns, If you're confident with drifting, use that as an advantage, otherwise, just slow down and make a simple turn. Once you win the race, talk with Claire and you can choose whether or not to accept her offer to give you a ride back near her garage.

The Beast in Me: Badlands Walkthrough Side Job Cyberpunk 2077

  • For this race, just do the same and call Claire when you reach the waypoint somewhere in the Badlands. The only difference with his race is, you'll have no choice but to use Beast as your racing vehicle. Don't worry though, the Beast vehicle is built for slippery dirt terrains which is what the badlands consists off. For this race, it's gonna be a little more bumpy and slippery, so we recommend not going full speed when not needed. Do take note that a sandstorm will occur after finishing half of the race which makes things a little bit more difficult. After finishing the race, have a few happy dialogues with Claire and choose whether or not to join her for a ride home.

The Beast in Me: Santo Domingo Walkthrough Side Job Cyberpunk 2077

  • This race is surprisingly easier than the Badlands race so, just do the same thing where you slow down during sharp turns and avoid colliding with oncoming civilian vehicles. What's unique about the Santo Domingo race is that after the race, you get to know more about Claire's past and what her true reason is for asking you to be her driver. After the race, she'll ask you to pull up ahead somewhere near El Capitan's location and she'll sit by a ledge where you two can start a conversation. You'll have to be careful with the dialogues that you choose. If you want to end up with two vehicles as a reward, choose the dialogues where you agree to help her kill Sampson but only through the race, and nothing intentional afterwards. Then remind her of the promise she made when she texts you before the Big Race. These choices will greatly effect what will happen in the last race of the Beast in me questline.

The Beast in Me: The Big Race Walkthrough Side Job Cyberpunk 2077

  • For this final race, you'll have to choose whether or not to win the race or stick with Claire's plan to try and assassinate Sampson. For the best outcomes, we recommend pushing through with Claire's plans. You can choose any vehicle you want, and you'll need to stay right behind Sampson's car during the entire race until his car breaks down and crashes. Once the Car crashes, head out of your vehicle with Claire and this will start a lengthy Dialogue session between you three. This is where your choices from the Santo Domingo race will take effect. You'll have to choose every dialogue that will tell Claire that killing Sampson isn't the option, eventually she'll be a bit frustrated and will ask you to leave together with Sampson still alive. You'll have some final dialogues with Claire on your way back to her Garage and she'll eventually hand over Beast to you. This will mark the end and completion of the Beast in me questline. After a few days, you'll also receive a text from Sampson thanking you for preventing Clair from killing him. He'll tell you that his Racecar has been repaired and is now yours.

(Edgerunners Update) Telling her to use 'My Rig' seems to cause the game to forget entirely what car you have been using. First race gave me a car I had literally never even entered at any point, let alone summoned, and when summoning a car afterward it gave me an entirely different one. Doesn't seem to have a clue what vehicle you were using.
Not that it really matters, since the rubber banding in the races is so overtuned its comical.

how long does it take for sampson to contact you for the car? i did the races ages ago and still waiting...

        • Anonymous

She cant shoot from any armoured car, Caliburn Aerondight or those Nomad cars, it doesn't matter his car always catch fire, just don't be too close or you're miss the turn he makes or he damaged you too much.

          • Anonymous

Claire also doesn't shoot if you're driving in Aerondight. Makes no difference gameplay wise anyway. Sampson's car will still catch fire.
