A voice from beyond the grave, the promise of dirt on old enemies... I'll admit, I'm a little curious. But in your shoes, I'd be careful with this one. Corpos are like wasps - they can sting even after they're dead.

Confront Frank

  • An old associate from Arasaka (Corpo Background) gives you a call, claiming that the ***** Abernathy (responsible for your fall from Arasaka) is now out to purge everyone who is not 100% in on her side. It is actually a recording from Frank claiming that he was gathering information to take Abernathy down first, but if you're hearing this, she must have gotten to him first.
  • This implies that Frank is now deceased. He asks that you find the information he was gathering and finish the job to ruin her life. The message says he is sending you the coordinates for where he stashed the info. You'll receive a text message from him a few seconds afterward.
  • Go to the indicated location. Johnny will have something to say about you still being in the rat race. The nearby dumpster can be activated to push it out of the way, revealing a briefcase - which after opening; is empty. Make sure to speak to Johnny away from the dumpster, otherwise, you'll move the dumpster and trigger Frank's appearance, and skip the conversation with Johnny.
  • Frank will show up behind you, looking a little worse for wear and tear. You'll get some dialogue options that will reveal that he lured you here to take you down, as an offering to Abernathy. He will instruct you to place your hands behind your head and turn around. Drawing your gun and aiming at him will cause him to turn hostile. If you wait, you'll get an additional dialogue option. If you tell him you are "nobody" and tell him to start over, and you completed the optional object in the first scene, he will sit on the couch the quest will end with Frank putting the gun away and sitting on the couch to think over his life choices.
Unless you talked to him in the first scene all choices lead to him becoming hostile.
  • If you choose to fight, Frank is a pushover, and will die fairly easily, rewarding you with a random weapon and the Apparition Unique pistol.

Unique Outcomes

Explored all dialogue options with Frank:

  • First Dialogue choice: You're pathetic.
  • Second Dialogue choice: Want you to open your eyes.
  • Outcome: Convince Frank to start a new life.

Do not explore all dialogue lines with Frank:

  • First Dialogue choice: I'm nobody to Abernathy.
  • Second Dialogue choice: Gotta start over.
  • Outcome: Convince Frank to start a new life.
  • Alternative First Dialogue choice: I'm nobody to Abernathy.
  • Alternative Second Dialogue choice: Not my problem.
  • Alternative Outcome: Frank makes a drastic decision

War Pigs Side Job Notes & Tips Cyberpunk 2077

  • This is a minor side job.
  • Frank is one of the first NPCs that you talk to when choosing the Corpo Life Path. He is an optional objective when meeting Jenkins for the first time. You can choose to stop and talk with him, or tell him that you are busy and will chat later. This chat never happens, as you're stripped of everything by Abernathy. He believes that by capturing you, he can return to working for Arasaka. He will mention your first chat with him, and if you chose to cut it short by saying you had to go, he will mention that you never had time to talk. The outcome of this mission could possibly change depending on if you finished the conversation with him. Needs additional testing.

I couldn't get the second line of dialog. Either way ended with him being hostile, with him saying I have nothing to lose or screw you and this rotten city

I think I didn't get any dialoge, there just was a hostile guy shooting at me directly after picking up the empty briefcase. So I shot him, thinking "talk to the stranger" would refer to someone else.
