You can be friedly with Royce, and when Militech attack base, just dont enter final room until you get message what attakers kill Royce and after kiling the robots you can loot Royce corps for pistol.

I decided to be friendly with Royce and help him fend off Militech, this means he is not an enemy target to me, and i cannot grab Chaos....surely there is still a way when you side with him?
so the reliable thing about this gun is that it's not reliable. amazing
