There is no smart tracking. I have Gold Projectile Launcher and Gold Smart Link and it's either non-functional or requires a distance of less than 10m which is right into the danger zone

      • Anonymous

Smart tracking doesn’t seem to have much of an effect and tranquilizer seems to be an insta-kill on humans. Requires no ammo and has a quick cooldown after a few shots. Also doesn’t come out as a fourth slot as you panic cycle weapons. Still explodes and can one shot vehicles. Fun glitchy mess. If anyone else wants to test it.

They nerfed dmg hard on this one I played on 1.3 hard difficulty and it had okaish dmg now playing on on 1.6 patch and the damage sucks also the lock on got worse? Anyway the problem for me is the lack of dmg and also the lack of build for it

          • Anonymous

Okay, noticed quite a few idiots commenting, so it bears saying apparently: The ROCKET PROPELLED GRENADES you shoot from your ARM CANNON are NOT SILENT! DO NOT USE FROM STEALTH!

            • Anonymous

This aint as useless as people say but it does lack any sort of build diversity around it, you only have a few options, aside from that it's a decent spammable AOE knockdown projectile at no cost. Not much damage but hey, if it had that what is it missing right?

              • Anonymous

The main reason it sucks is because it has absolutely no damage scaling at all. Mantis Blades and Monowire scale with reflexes and blades, Gorilla Arms scale with body and street brawler, but the PLS? No scaling. Simple, straightforward unchanging base damage which doesn't scale as you level your skills.

                • Anonymous

It sucks that there is no viable build with this weapon. There are no perks that affect it in any way. Your only chance is going full Athletics/cold blood and that's it.

Waiting for dlc or mods that give more options than explosives, things like shotgun blasts, energy beams, or even a grappling hook.

Like in the beginning of the game where the maxtak lady shoot a shotgun blast from her arm.

Tranq rounds for the PLS are 100% Useless! The PLS unlike most cybertech only comes in two versions, Rare and Legendary. Both have the "Explodes on impact" addition. It makes your tranq rounds explode which alerts the cops totally defeating the purpose of tranq rounds as a stealth option. CDPR should add a Common version that doesn't have the Explodes on impact addition or turn off the explosions when using the tranq rounds or someone should make a Mod that fixes this Huge problem.

A bit counterintuitively, this seems to me like the best arm cyberware for a melee fighter. Use it to stun the enemy/group of enemies before closing the distance and obliterating them in close quarters. Reaches the peak of its power with the fortified ankles, with which you can jump around and bomb everyone while staying safe from your own rounds.

What mods can I slot into it besides the regular ammo type? I have normal explosive rounds slotted but I also have one extra mod slot
