Cool determines your resilience, composure, and effectiveness in operating from stealth. |
Cool is a Stat in Cyberpunk 2077. Each stat affects different capabilities, such as skills or Perks, and has a level cap of 20. Cool determine your ability to how will the character stands up to stress, fear, pressure, physical pain, and/or torture. In determining your willingness to fight on despite wounds or your fighting ability under fire.
Cool Information
Cool determines your resilience, composure, and effectiveness in operating from stealth. Each level of Cool will:
- Increase Crit. Damage by 2%
- Increase all Resistances by 1%.
- Increase stealth damage by 10%.
- Reduce the speed at which enemies detect you in stealth by 0.5%
- Increase enemy grapple duration by 1 sec.

I feel this skill was absolutely forgotten about on skill checks. I'm sitting at 100 hours of gameplay and only have 7 cool. The only meaninngful check that comes to mind was the one on the mission where some cops are beating a corpo guy on an alley. Having 12 would have let me shake him down for money (no idea why robbing a half dead guy needs 12 cool, but ok). On my eyes, cool is supposed to be kinda like a charisma stat, not rellated to knowledge or skill, but having a way with words. Shame it didn't get the fallout speech treatment.
