Dagger Dealer Notes & Tips

  • As of patch 1.04, knives that are thrown are currently unable to be retrieved. It is uncertain whether this is a bug or intentional.
  • With the 1.5 update, thrown knives can be recovered by going near where they land, or by waiting for them to return from cooldown. Additionally, there are more supporting perks, providing an increase in viability.

For those who really want to give this Perk a chance I recommend to use in-game console and add receipe for common Knife you can craft yourself whenever needed.
      Command: Game.AddToInventory("Items.CommonKnifeRecipe", 1

Killing enemies with a thrown blade seems to gain you experience with Blades. You might be able to gain bonuses from Blades when you throw them making them deal a large chunk of damage. I have the Cutt throat perk in Stealth that gives me 60% more damage with throwing blades and working towards the skills that make thrown daggers always apply poison and the one that makes poisoned enemy slowed. So what if they are disposable? They hit like a truck if built right.

Pretty lame that this uses up the knife and you can't retrieve it. I can see the knife sticking out of the enemy's face, let me just use it again wtf. If I could find a crafting blueprint for knives then maybe this would be a good skill, but it sucks so far
